Technology Integration


The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) curriculum provides students with a broad perspective on the nature of technology, how to use and apply a variety of technologies, and the impact of information and communication technologies on themselves and on society. The ICT curriculum is not intended to stand alone, but rather to be infused within the core courses and programs.

The Internet provides a powerful, interesting vehicle to discover the world. A few words of caution are necessary as on follow the trail of discovery.

Student Safety

One of Palliser Regional School's objectives is to provide safe and caring schools. This idea goes beyond jus tthe school building. We also want to provide safety as you work with people outside of your school. To provide for a safe Internet experience use the following rules:

  • Use only your first name. Never give out your full name.
  • Never give out your address, phone number, or picture without your teacher's permission.
  • Do not enter contests without your teacher's permission
  • Report unusual activiy on the Internet to your teacher. For example if you receive 'unusual' email, report it to your teacher
  • NEVER agree to meet soemone you meet on the Internet without your teacher or parent's permssion.
  • Treat others as you would want to be treated.
  • Have fun, be safe!
