The Internet provides a powerful, interesting vehicle to discover the world. A few words of caution are necessary as on follow the trail of discovery.
Palliser Regional Schools Acceptable Use Policy
Student Safety
One of Palliser Regional School's objectives is to provide safe and caring schools. This idea goes beyond jus tthe school building. We also want to provide safety as you work with people outside of your school. To provide for a safe Internet experience use the following rules:
- Use only your first name. Never give out your full name.
- Never give out your address, phone number, or picture without your teacher's permission.
- Do not enter contests without your teacher's permission
- Report unusual activiy on the Internet to your teacher. For example if you receive 'unusual' email, report it to your teacher.
- NEVER agree to meet soemone you meet on the Internet without your teacher or parent's permssion.
- Treat others as you would want to be treated.
- Have fun, be safe!
