Leadership Projects
As part of the Leadership Piece of the Palliser AISI Project, 2 important initiatives will be undertaken in the 2008-2009 school year.
1) WCEAC 2008
All Palliser Administrators will be attending the Western Canada Educational Administratos Conference in Kananaskis Country, October 22 - 24. Our purpose is to not only participate in the meetings and sessions but also to share and consult amongst our own Admin Association with the goal of further professional growth as educational executives.
2) Palliser Admin Mentorship Initiative
All school based administrators in Palliser Regional Schools are invited to take part in the Admin Mentorship Initiative. Participants will be paired with another administrator in the system, a mentor. Members of the project will be provided opportunity to:
- visit the school of the mentoring partner
- shadow their partner at work
- share ideas for practices, protocols and procedures
- consult on a wide variety of educational leadership topics
