Safe and Caring Schools
A large part of the Palliser AISI Project is focussed on Character Education, Citizenship and Safe and Caring Schools.
SACS Steering Committee
A Division Wide Steering Committee exists to provide direction and support to the endeavors across the district in this area. It is compopsed of school administrators, trustees, sr administrators and central office personnel. The committee meets twice annually to share and stay abreast of endeavors and activities around the district with regard to safe and caring schools as well as developments in character education in the province and around the world.
Next Meeting:
The SACS Steering Committee will be meeting at County Central High School on October 8 starting at 1:00 PM. Lunch will be provided starting around noon.
An agenda will be sent out prior to the meeting. The plan is to have some presentations from schools and groups doing good things with character ed, to have schools share their safe and caring goals for the year and to update schools on s and c developments outside our division.
