Noorin Chatur-Muhammad New Coordinator of Communications and Corporate Services

The Palliser School Division is pleased to announce that Noorin Chatur-Muhammad has accepted the role of Coordinator of Communications and Corporate Services, commencing August 16, 2021.  

Noorin comes to Palliser from the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce as their Policy and Communications Analyst since 2019.  She also worked with the Government of Canada as a Constituency Assistant for Jim Hillyer, Member of Parliament.

Passionate about communication and public policy, Noorin is a highly accomplished professional with four years of public and private experience and she possesses extensive experience in research, communication and public policy.  

Noorin attended the University of Victoria and received her Bachelor of Arts in 2008.  She later attended the University of Lethbridge to acquire her Master of Arts in Political Science in 2011 and received a post diploma in Journalism from the College of the North Atlantic in 2019.

Today more than ever, the importance of communications in developing engaged relationships, is well understood.  As we emerge from the challenging period of the pandemic, I am grateful for the opportunity to use that bounce-back to positively build on the communications strategy that the Palliser School Board has in place and to address those opportunities that can be built upon,” states Noorin.  “It is a real privilege to be joining such a dynamic team that celebrates empathy, integrity, respect, trust and responsibility, as a foundation for providing exemplary education. There are great stories around every corner here and I am thrilled to be a part of a team that tells them.”

Married to her husband, Asif, and they have two children.  Noorin enjoys going to the gym, reading, and traveling.  She is currently training for a fitness competition slated for 2022. Congratulations, Noorin!
