Policy Statement:
The Board is committed to providing a positive work environment for Division staff and the Board and carrying out its responsibilities will ensure the health and safety of staff. The Board recognizes psychological health and safety is embedded in the way people interact with one another on a daily basis and is part of the way working conditions and management practices are structured and the way decisions are made and communicated.

Palliser School Division is committed to comply with CSA National Standards of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the workplace.

Board Action:
The Board directs the Superintendent to develop a plan. This plan will come forward to the Board for approval in principal and will be ready for implementation for the new school year. (2017-2018).

Scope and Limitations of Superintendent:
The Superintendent will implement the plan as developed.

Information and Monitoring Requirements:
The plan will contain appropriate monitoring mechanisms to be reported on an annual basis.
