AP 430 - Non-Certified Staff

The division believes that non-teaching support staff members are necessary to enable a school to operate efficiently. For the purposes of this administrative procedure, support staff members are those employees who are not covered under a collective agreement or employment contract with Palliser Regional Schools.


  1. Non-certificated staff includes all employees not required to possess a valid Alberta teaching certificate to perform their duties.


  1. Conditions of employment, vacations, statutory holidays, absences and employee benefits for support staff members are addressed in the Palliser Regional Schools Personnel Handbook.
