Debbie Laturnus, Vice-Chair

Representing the Town of Coaldale, as well as the community served by Trinity Christian School in Calgary, Debbie Laturnus was returned as  Board Vice-Chair at the organizational meeting held in October 2017.

Debbie was first elected to the Board in October of 2013, after becoming involved as a volunteer at the Palliser Regional Schools her two children attended in Coaldale.

She grew up and went to school in rural Manitoba and moved to Alberta at the age of 18. Debbie’s past employment includes work as an office manager at the Southern Alberta Bible Camp and she has been employed at Harper Chiropractic for the past 16 years, now serving as office manager.

Debbie and her husband Jason, a volunteer firefighter for more than a decade, have two boys. Twenty-two-year-old Jordan is recently married and works at the Southern Alberta Bible Camp, while 19-year-old Dylan, is attending Bible School in Saskatchewan.  Debbie and Jason have lived in Coaldale for the past 19 years.
