The Position:

Palliser Regional Schools has an opening for a temporary part-time (.8 FTE) Family School Liaison Counselor to offer support to Heritage Christian Academy. This position will commence September 7, 2021, and conclude on March 1, 2022, or upon return of the incumbent.

Responsibilities include direct counseling intervention to children and their families, and preventative and educational programming to students, parents, school staff and other interested community members. The Family School Liaison Counselor (FSLC) will be a strong team member, working in partnership with school staff and interagency partners.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Equivalent Master’s degree in the counseling area, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, or equivalent;
  • A vibrant Christian faith, demonstrating the leadership of Jesus Christ;
  • The ability to make Gospel values an integral part of school life.
