About 8,100 students across Lethbridge County, Vulcan County and the City of Calgary will return to classes in Palliser Regional Schools on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

If you haven’t already registered your child, it’s best to contact the school directly. Staff return to schools on Monday, Aug. 29.

Please visit your school's website for school calendars, supply lists and other pertinent information.

To register for the first time, you will need to complete a Student Registration Form or the Student Registration Form for Faith-based Alternative Programs, for students registered in our Calgary and Brant faith-based schools as well as our schools for Low German-speaking Mennonite families, John Davidson School in Coaldale and Barons School in Barons.

Please bring the following documents with you when you register:

  • Verification of the child's legal name and age (usually a birth certificate)
  • The 911 address of the child’s residence(s). In urban settings, this is a house number and street/avenue; in rural settings it's the series of numbers on the blue sign at the property.
  • If the parent/guardian is here on a student visa or work permit, please bring copies of immigration documentation.

For students new to Palliser and requiring bus service in Lethbridge County and Vulcan County, please contact your school. The school’s office staff will complete and submit the necessary paperwork to establish bus service for you. It is imperative that you provide the school your 911 address as noted above.

Palliser offers the convenience of online payment of school fees at more than 20 of its schools. To access this service, families need to register once with School Cash Online to activate an account that can be used from year to year as your child moves from grade to grade and from one participating Palliser school to another.

School Cash Online provides:

  • a convenient payment option that saves you time;
  • reduces paper;
  • keeps classroom time devoted to instruction, instead of collecting cash;
  • improves security by limiting the cash and cheques carried to and held at school.

Parents who register will receive notification by email of student fees (both required and optional), can make secure online payments by credit card and can receive receipts for payments made. The system simplifies tracking various fees and help ensure your student doesn’t miss out on events, trips or other activities or goods that require payment.
