Administrative Procedure 360: Student Evaluation

Student achievement in provincially prescribed courses will be evaluated regularly using a balanced program of multiple indicators and sources of evidence.

  1. The primary responsibility for the evaluation of student achievement rests with the principal and the teaching staff.
  2. The basis for evaluating student achievement shall be open, explicit and fair.
  3. The appeal procedure outlined in Administrative Procedure 362 – Appeals of Student Evaluation shall be readily available to students and parents.
  4. Information gathered in evaluating student progress will be used to improve the quality of educational programs for students.
