Alberta Education, in collaboration with the Alberta Regional Professional Development Consortia, invites you to a focus group to discuss components of Curriculum Redesign.
Parents, homeschoolers, business and industry partners, students, curriculum co-ordinators, administrators and educators are invited to register for one of six sessions planned around the province, beginning Monday, April 28in Lethbridge.
Conversations at these meetings will focus on the following:
- Draft competency indicators
- Draft literacy and numeracy benchmarks
- Draft guidelines for infusing First Nations, Metis and Inuit perspectives into curriculum
- Assessment capacity, digital tests, student learning assessments
Meetings will held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on the following dates:
