The Christmas season means many things to many people. For some it is all about the giving, while for others it's about getting together with family and friends.

The days leading up to Christmas also means all kinds of celebrations at Palliser Regional Schools. Music and drama is a common thread, while many schools see staff and students share a holiday meal.

At Sunnyside School, the annual Christmas concert packs the small gym to overflowing. This year's production, “Santa.Claus,” provided a modern take on Santa’s troubles when a computer meltdown threatens to cancel Christmas. Under the guidance of music director Mona Slusar, the performance included such numbers as "Computer Crash," "The Worst Christmas Ever" and "Doctor Fix-It."
