Christmas concerts, plays and other holiday-themed events are often what sticks out for family and friends during this festive season. Schools are celebrating the holidays much differently this year. Concerts are being streamed and drive-bys are being held but what hasn't changed is the true spirit of the season. Students and staff at Coalhurst Elementary School are giving their time to those in the community who could use a little extra cheer. The school's student leadership committee sponsored a food drive and students collected toys for Angel Tree. Angel Tree makes miracles happen with enormous community support, spirit of generosity and the continued kindheartedness of Lethbridge and area. An estimated 2600 children, 0 – 18 years old will find gift bundles waiting for them on Christmas morning this year because of this program.
