As the exam season brings its usual stress, six of our students are facing an extra challenge: not only are they preparing for their exams, but they are also gearing up to compete in the Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon!
Six students from National Sport School will be joining Team Canada at the Youth Olympic games in South Korea to compete in the halfpipe, luge, ski cross, and ski jumping.
Leanne Topp, Vice Principal at National Spots School, is impressed with these students, not just for their athletic abilities, but for their personal character as well, “All of these students are talented at managing school and sport; they have all made arrangements to finish courses when they return. Communication, independence and cooperation are all skills these students possess”.
