Thank you to Lethbridge MP Jim Hillyer's office for sharing these lovely photos from the flag raising ceremony held at Coalhurst Elementary Wednesday morning to honour the Canadian men and women who have served in Afghanistan and to commemorate the end of Canada's mission there.
The flag was lowered in the morning and raised at noon to commemorate this important date. Students also shared poems they'd written.
