As family and friends of Mrs. Jennie Emery gather in Lethbridge this morning to pay final respects to the long-time educator, students and staff in Coaldale at the elementary school named in her honour will pay a tribute of their own.
Just after 11 a.m., students at Jennie Emery Elementary School will assemble to talk about the woman behind the school's name. They will observe a minute of silence then sing their school song. Sounds like a lovely tribute.
