The new Horizon Elementary School, Palliser’s newest alternative program, is beginning to take shape just in time for students to arrive Sept. 5.
The building was recently full of crews, including Palliser facilities and technology staff, delivering and setting up furnishings, SMART televisions, bulletin boards and wireless technology.
The Islamic school will offer early learning through Grade 6 programming, and is created in partnership with the Horizon Academy Institute.
The school is located at Building B4, 2452 Battleford Avenue SW, Calgary, in the Currie neighbourhood.
