New VP of Noble Central announced

Palliser Regional Schools is pleased to announce  Joe Buckler has accepted a transfer to the role of Vice-Principal of Noble Central School commencing the 2014-15 school year.

Noble Central School is located in the village of Nobleford and serves about 230 students from kindergarten through Grade 12.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Calgary in 1980, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary in 1983 and his Masters of Education in 2010 from the University of Lethbridge, with specialization in Administration and Leadership.

After earning his Bachelor of Education degree in 1983, Joe started teaching for the Federal Department of Indian Affairs. He later taught for 25 years in the Brooks area for Grasslands Regional District. Joe has been the Vice-Principal of Kate Andrews High School in Coaldale since 2009.

Joe has been married to his beautiful wife Jennifer for the past 35 years. Together they have raised two wonderful kids. Warren is a teacher in Medicine Hat and Ian is a welder in Edmonton. Joe and Jennifer have been blessed with two grandchildren; Kaedan (8 years old) and Cooper (6 years old), both of whom love to go fishing and hiking with their grandparents.

Joe is looking forward to this new opportunity and challenge at Noble Central School, and is excited to continue his participation with the Superintendent’s Leadership team.
