This week, students and staff at Milo School welcomed a former Olympian to the school. Corporal Pascal Richard of the Vulcan RCMP detachment competed in skeleton at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics and shared his experiences with Milo students. He gave a very informative talk after we watched a video of highlights from the 2002 Games. The students were especially interested in the Canada Olympic gear he brought to show us and the equipment which the kids got to handle.

After a few rounds of questions from the audience, Student Union President Nash Nelson presented Corporal Richard with a Milo School T-shirt to thank him for taking time to visit.

Watch out parents, there may be a few students asking to visit Canada Olympic Park to try out skeleton after being inspired by this visit.
