Palliser Regional Schools was a finalist for the Alberta School Boards Association Premier's Award for School Board Innovation and Excellence, for the Think of Us on the Bus safety campaign. Twenty Boards were nominated and only four made it to the finals.
Palliser Chair Colleen Deitz was presented a plaque at the ASBA Fall General Meeting in Edmonton Monday night.
The bus safety campaign is an education, awareness and enforcement effort aimed at improving safety in and around school buses.
