Palliser Regional Schools is pleased to announce Sterling Paiha as principal of Coalhurst Elementary School for the 2014-15 school year.
Paiha is currently principal of Picture Butte High School.
A 21-year veteran in Palliser Regional Schools, Paiha has 14 years of experience in school administration, 10 of those years at Picture Butte High School. He completed his education degree at the University of Lethbridge and earned his master's degree from Gonzaga University, specializing in administration and supervision.
In other administrative changes for 2014-15:
- Jody Beagle, principal of Arrowwood Community School for the past three years, is taking on a new role as vice-principal of Vulcan Prairieview Elementary School.
- Rachelle Prud'homme, vice-principal at Heritage Christian Academy, has accepted a secondment opportunity with Alberta Education for 2014-15. The secondment is for a one-year term with the possibility of a second year.
