Milo School welcomes the public to attend a presentation by professional hoop dancer Teddy Anderson at 9:30 a.m., March 20 at the school.
Anderson has performed all over the world in hundreds of schools. He dances with 30 hoops at one time to share a message of unity, fellowship and peace. The performance allows students to appreciate the meaning behind the First Nation’s Hoop Dance. The main purpose of the performance is to teach students about global citizenship through First Nation’s art.
Following the performance, the public is welcome to join students and staff for juice and coffee. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event sponsored by the Milo Community School Foundation.
