STAFFING ANNOUNCEMENT - PAYROLL SPECIALIST, SUPPORT STAFF

We are pleased to announce that Olusola Yusuff has accepted the role of Payroll Specialist, Support Staff, commencing May 30, 2022.

Sola joined our team in November 2021 as Temporary Payroll Specialist, Support staff. We are very excited to welcome him to our team in a permanent position and to continue to work alongside him as he learns and grows in this position.

Sola came to Palliser School division with years of experience in payroll, scheduling and as a program assistant working in a large international company.

Sola worked as payroll Analyst in Nigeria between 2012 and 2015 before securing a fully funded Scholarship to study Master of Arts in Economics at the University of Lethbridge in 2015 after graduating with First Class Honors in Economics from Babcock University, Nigeria. Sola graduated from University of Lethbridge in 2017 and worked with St. Michael Health Centre as a Program Assistant prior to joining the Palliser School Division.

Sola is married to Tolani who works as a Registered Nurse with Covenant Health. Sola has a daughter (Leticia) soon to be 5 years old and is also expecting a new addition in October.

Sola is happy to be joining the Palliser family permanently and looks forward to expanding his knowledge and experience as a Payroll Specialist for Non-certified Support employees. “I love payroll, it allows you to connect with everyone within the organization in one way or the other, directly or indirectly, you are in their life. Talking to people and helping them solves issues gives me joy knowing that I’m making a positive impact.”

Sola enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going on bike rides around the neighborhood with his daughter and reading. “At work, I love the atmosphere, the environment, my team and everyone I have been working with. I look forward to more successful years ahead learning, growing in this role as well as building new and stronger relationships with this amazing team.”
