Veteran principal accepts leadership role at Kate Andrews High School

Palliser Regional Schools is pleased to announce Harry Fritschy has accepted the role of Principal of Kate Andrews High School commencing the 2014-15 school year.

Kate Andrews High School is located in Coaldale and serves approximately 360 students from Grades 9 to 12.

Harry graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Manitoba and has completed 11 leadership courses at Trinity Western University. Harry has been the Principal at Calgary Christian Elementary School for the past eight years, and Principal of Calgary Christian Secondary for the four years previous. Prior to that, Harry was principal at Duncan Christian Secondary School for 12 years and teacher for 11 years in Houston, B.C. Four of those years he was Principal.

Harry is married to Eleanor and together they have raised five daughters: Tara lives in Taber; Nikki and Michelle live on Vancouver Island; and Melinda and Marissa live in Calgary. Harry and Eleanor have four grandchildren.

Outside of school, Harry enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying the great outdoors and camping.

Harry is looking forward to this new opportunity and challenge, and is excited to continue his participation with the Superintendent’s Leadership team.
