Congratulations to Palliser Vice-Chair Don Zech, who received the Public School Boards' Association of Alberta Award for Advancing Association Business and Initiatives.
The award was presented at the PSBAA fall general meeting Friday in Edmonton in recognition of Don's "service to others as a trusted colleague, mentor and true advocate on behalf of Alberta's children."
Zech has been a trustee in Palliser since 2001 and served as Board chair for the eight years. He has served as a director of PSBAA and was involved in the establishment of the Public Schools Boards Council.
