Highlights of the regular meeting of the Palliser Board of Trustees held Oct. 19, are online. Highlights include:
- A review of the division's academic results released in October that continue to see high achievement rates above the provincial average in all but one category;
- Name changes to three schools so their official names with Alberta Education align with common usage;
- A visit from the Village of Milo mayor and administrator to discuss development plans;
- A commitment of seed for creation of a child advocacy centre to serve young victims of abuse and their families in southern Alberta;
- Commendations to Facility Services staff for their ongoing work on Palliser-owned facilities and to ensure safe workplaces for staff and learning spaces for students.
