The provincial budget will be announced Thursday and there has been considerable speculation about education budgets being cut by five per cent and contractual obligations not being funded.
In Palliser, a seven per cent funding reduction (a five per cent cut with an additional impact of unfunded contractual increases) would amount to $5.1 million.
