Palliser Regional Schools is offering an exciting opportunity for students to earn 25 high school credits while at the same time completing a Lethbridge College certificate in Health Care Aide. The program would see Palliser students work toward their two-year certificate during their Grade 11 and 12 years as they gain credits for their high school diploma.
For students interested in exploring a career in the health sector, the Health Care Aide program will provide successful candidates online training, labs held at Lethbridge College and a practicum experience where students receive direct supervision and support in the field as they build their skills.
Students need to have successfully completed Grade 10 English prior to being accepted into the Health Care Aide Certificate program. The program will be offered to Palliser students starting in September 2014. Space in the program is limited.
