Familiar face named principal of County Central High

We are pleased to announce that Tracy Inaba has been appointed the role of Principal of County Central High School commencing the 2014-15 school year.

County Central High School is located in the town of Vulcan and serves approximately 260 students from Grades 7 to 12.

Tracy earned her Bachelor of Education degree in 1992 and her Masters of Education degree in 2013 with specialization in Educational Leadership, both from the University of Lethbridge.

Tracy started teaching at County Central High School in September of 1992. She has taught many different courses over the years, but has primarily taught French and junior high Language Arts.

Tracy was awarded an Alberta Excellence in Teaching Award in 2010. She became the Vice-Principal of County Central High School in September 2011.

Tracy is married to her wonderful husband Mike and together they have raised three great children. Chelsea (age 19), just finished her first year of university at the University of Alberta, Augustana Campus in Camrose, with a major in psychology.

Tracy’s son Brayden (age 17), is in Grade 11 and son Tristan (age 13) is in Grade 7. Both boys enjoy playing a variety of sports. Outside of school, Tracy enjoys reading,camping, listening to music and watching her kids’ sports activities and music performances.

Tracy is looking forward to this new opportunity and challenge, and is excited to continue her participation with the Superintendent’s Leadership team.
