Kate Andrews High School needs the community's help to fill a school bus with nonperishable food items for the Coaldale Community Food Bank.
The food drive kicked off Tuesday, Oct. 22 when Grade 9 students delivered bright yellow plastic bags to homes in Coaldale. Recipients are invited to fill the bag with nonperishable food items, and leave it in a visible location at the front of the house for students and staff to pick up following dismissal at 12:30 p.m., Friday, Oct 25.
Donations can also be dropped off anytime this week at the school at 2112 21 Street, Coaldale.
Campaign organizers hope to fill a 24-seat school bus in support of the food bank.
