New principal at Picture Butte High School in the fall

Palliser Regional Schools is pleased to announce Mark Lowe has accepted the role of Principal of Picture Butte High School commencing the 2014-15 school year.

Picture Butte High School is located in the town of Picture Butte and serves approximately 197 students from Grades 7 to 12. 

Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master’s of Education degree from Gonzaga University.

Mark has been a teacher at Warner School for the last 15 years, with 12 of those as principal.

Mark grew up in sunny southern Saskatchewan on a ranch near Swift Current and the South Saskatchewan River.

Mark is married to his beautiful wife Tara and together they have raised two sons, Jackson and Jasper.

Outside of school, Mark enjoys the great outdoors and he just completed his third marathon.

Mark is interested in the exploring the high school flexibility project and is a big proponent of community collaboration.

Mark is looking forward to this new challenge and opportunity and is excited to be part of the Superintendent’s Leadership team.
