Principal of Champion School named

Palliser Regional Schools is pleased to announce Greg Rollingson has accepted the role of Principal of Champion School commencing the 2014-15 school year.

Champion School is located in the village of Champion and serves approximately 100 students from kindergarten through Grade 9.

Greg grew up in southern Alberta and completed his Bachelor of Arts and Education degrees in 2004 at the University of Lethbridge. Greg recently completed his Masters of Science in Recreation and Sport Science with an emphasis on Coaching Education from the Ohio University.

Greg began his teaching career with Palliser at County Central High School in Vulcan and was transferred in August 2011 to Kate Andrews High School in Coaldale, where he teaches today.

Greg has coached basketball in southern Alberta for the past 15 years. Outside of school, Greg loves golfing with his father and brother, spending lots of time with his family and tries to travel as much as he can.

Greg is looking forward to this new opportunity and is excited to meet the students, staff and parents of Champion School. Greg is equally thrilled to be part of the Superintendent’s Leadership team.
