To all parents of Palliser Regional Schools in the County of Lethbridge,
As you are likely aware, there is concern about flooding in the Oldman River valley and a local state of emergency has been declared by both the City of Lethbridge and County of Lethbridge.
In speaking with the municipalities and reviewing our student attendance areas and busing system, we intend to maintain a regular schedule in our schools and bus students home at the regular time.
The latest information we have from the City of Lethbridge is that they do not believe it will be necessary to close Highway 3 and Whoop Up Drive bridges over the Oldman River.
If you feel the need to pick up your child from school early, please contact your school principal to make arrangements. Otherwise the school day will end on a regular schedule.
